🌿 Rosemary & Clove Hair Tonic

A refreshing, natural tonic to soothe the scalp, promote hair growth, and leave your hair feeling revitalized. Gentle enough for regular use and easy to make with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups purified water
  • 1 tablespoon dried cloves (or 1.5 tsp ground cloves if needed)
  • 1 large sprig of fresh rosemary (or 1 tablespoon dried)

Optional (for preservation & balance):

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (adds pH balance, light preservation)
  • A few drops of essential oil (clove, rosemary, tea tree, or lavender)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a low boil, then add rosemary and cloves.
  2. Simmer gently for 10–15 minutes, covered.
  3. Remove from heat and let it steep while cooling to room temperature.
  4. Strain well using cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer.
  5. Pour into a spray bottle.

Optional: Add apple cider vinegar and/or essential oils once cooled.


Storage

  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 week without preservatives.
  • With ACV or essential oils, it can last 2–3 weeks refrigerated.

How to Use

  • Shake well before each use.
  • Lightly spritz onto the scalp and hair roots, then massage or brush in.
  • Use 2–3 times per week, or daily depending on your scalp’s needs.
